L'Atelier

Our teams

The Bureau (4 members).

The president of the association is in charge of coordinating the association's actions with NEOMA's administration, with L'Atelier du campus de Reims and finally with all the partners with whom we work (suppliers, potential clients, NEOMA's associations...).

The vice-president is in charge of the internal coordination of the association with our 32 members, the follow-up of certain cluster projects and finally the organization of regular meetings so that information circulates in the best possible way within L'Atelier.

The treasurer is responsible for monitoring the payment of supplier and customer invoices. She must also ensure that the association's accounts are balanced and that our turnover is monitored.

The secretary has the role of taking notes and writing minutes after each meeting. She is also in charge of following up one of the association's major projects (which we will present later). Finally, she is responsible for the organization and management of the association's recruitment in October.

Elle est également chargée du suivi d’un des projets majeurs de l’association (que nous présenterons plus tard). Enfin, c’est la responsable de l’organisation et de la gestion des recrutements de l’association en octobre.

The communication department (5 members)

The main mission of the communication department is to manage all our social networks. This includes writing posts to make our events attractive. The members of the department are also responsible for creating visuals to promote these events, as well as our new textile collections and our regular competitions organized by our events and canvassing department. A last mission is to realize all the shootings of the new annual collections in order to make students want to invest in a souvenir of their years of study at NEOMA BS.

The events and canvassing department (6 members)

The members of this pole organize 3 major events during the year which are open to the whole NEOMA class. These are afterwork events that can welcome up to 200 to 400 people.

The cluster also has a number of canvassing missions. This allows us to run frequent competitions on the occasion of our events or special days such as Valentine's Day, while at the same time giving visibility to brands and shops in Rouen.

The creative department (5 members)

The main mission of the creative department is to imagine and create models for the association's new annual collection. Before creating the mood boards and visuals, the pole creates a survey sent to the entire graduating class and staff of NEOMA Business School in order to know the expectations of our potential clients. A second mission of the association is to create the models for the orders of textiles or goodies of the other associations of the school.

The logistic department (8 members)

The main mission of the logistics unit is to manage stocks and analyze these stocks and sales. This allows us to know which types of articles work best, if there is a need for restocking or a price reduction. The logistics department therefore carries out an inventory and stock analysis every month and submits a report to the association's board. Logistics also checks each of our orders to make sure that our service providers have not made any mistakes and that the customer will be perfectly satisfied. Another task of the division is to supervise internet orders and their distribution to customers.

The central purchasing department (8 members)

The aim of the central purchasing unit is to act as an intermediary in order to offer NEOMA's associations the items that best meet their expectations while negotiating the most affordable prices possible. A member of the central purchasing unit manages the order from the request for a quote to the delivery of the items to the campus. Each member also sets a margin on these orders, which is validated by the head of the unit, so that the Atelier can have the funds to create its new annual collection. The central purchasing unit also seeks to get the best out of our suppliers (quality, costs, deadlines, after-sales service).

The bureau (5 members)

Composed of 5 people, the office of the Atelier is in charge of all the organizational and managerial part of the association.

The president is the link between NEOMA's administration, the associations and our counterparts at Atelier Rouen. He also manages external relations (suppliers, potential clients...).

The 2 vice-presidents share the management of the internal coordination of the 53 members who make up the 5 clusters. That is to say, the management of the clusters and the projects that are organized within them.

The treasurer is responsible for monitoring the payment of supplier and customer invoices. She must also ensure that the association's accounts are balanced and that our turnover is monitored.

The secretary general is responsible for all administrative matters in the association. He/she is also responsible for setting up meetings and taking the minutes. Finally, he is responsible for recruitment.

The events and canvassing department (14 members)

The main mission of L'Atelier's events department is to give visibility to the association in order to boost sales. To do this, our events department sets up several temporary stands throughout the year on the various campuses to introduce the products and new collections to the students. The department also has a part of canvassing missions which allows it to organize competitions and various activities, such as Valentine's Day or Easter, always with the aim of giving visibility to the association.

He also aims to organize internal events (team building day, team building weekend, etc.) and external events such as themed evenings to promote our products.

The logistic department (8 members)

One of the main missions of the logistic department is to take care of the stock management as well as to manage the website. Stock inventories are regularly organized in order to know which articles are still available in the store and on the website. This department is also in charge of the preparation of the orders as well as their distribution which is done either by expedition or directly at the store on the campus. The members of the logistics department also ensure that the latest products are displayed in the boutique so that customers can have access to the latest collection.

The central purchasing department (11 members)

The central purchasing unit is the intermediary between the customers, in this case the Neoma associations, and the suppliers. Our mission is to find the items that are suitable for the associations and to propose a quote with the best possible quality/price ratio. A lot of work is done upstream, since we have to canvass and negotiate with suppliers. So we also have a canvassing section in our department. There is also commercial work, of course, as we have to make associations want to work with us and convince them to do so. Our final goal is of course to satisfy our customers and to build their loyalty so that they trust us for their next projects.
